ESU in Padua obtained significant funding from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) to support the right to study and improve housing supply.

The following interventions were carried out in specific areas:

In A.Y. 2022/2023, 24 scholarships totalling € 95,908 were disbursed under the call approved by Decree no. 171/2022 (CUP E91I22000460005)

In A.Y. 2022/2023, 23 scholarships totalling € 106,845 were disbursed under the call approved by Decree no. 181/2023 (CUP E91I23000700005)

In A.Y. 2024/2025, 28 scholarships totalling € 132,202.15 were disbursed under the call approved by Decree no. 242/2024 (CUP E91I24000780007)

Thanks to the financing of € 30,015 ESU has activated the AppIO services, investing in the digitalisation of its processes with a view to improving the relationship with its users. You can now also receive notifications about your requests on the AppIO (CUP E51F22002530006)

Thanks to PNRR funds, ESU was able to considerably increase the number of beds in student halls of residence. Within the framework of the resources made available by Ministerial Decree No. 1046 of 26/08/2022, ESU obtained significant funding to increase its student accommodation from the year 2023:

  • Minio Residence, thanks to funding of € 856,440, plus € 285,480 of ESU resources, will be able to guarantee 24 bed places for 12 years (CUP E94F22006730001)
  • San Raffaele Residence, thanks to a funding of € 2,291,250, plus € 763,750 of ESU resources, will be able to guarantee 72 bed places for 13 years (CUP E34F22007000001)
  • Gattamelata Residence, thanks to funding of € 1,600,000, plus € 811,200 of ESU resources, will be able to guarantee 40 bed places for 11 years (CUP E94F22006740001)

In a nutshell, ESU is committed to supporting the right to study: the ultimate goal of these interventions is to guarantee services for university students in Padua to make their stay in the city a further educational experience.
