The personal information entered on the ESU portal must match exactly the information on the University of Padua portal; otherwise, the service cannot be activated. If the student is duly enrolled, the meal service is automatically activated within 48–72 hours of the first login to the Student Portal. For students enrolled in their first years, the canteen service is activated starting in the second half of September.
– Initial Rates: Through December 31, 2026, first-year students will be charged the “Rate B” (€4.70 for a full meal; €3.50 for a reduced-price meal).
– Updates starting in 2027: Starting January 1, 2027, the rate will be recalculated based on the results of the scholarship ranking. Scholarship recipients will be entitled to one free meal per day until December 31, 2027, with the canteen fee deducted from the scholarship itself. Eligible first-year students who are not scholarship recipients are subject to Rate A (€2.70 per full meal, €2.00 per reduced-price meal). First-year students who have not applied for a scholarship or are ineligible will remain on Rate B.
