A) Navigation data and purpose of their treatment
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified persons, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the Site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the response status given by the server (successful, error etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User's computer environment.
These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing.
The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site: except for this eventuality, the data itself is stored for the time defined by the relevant legal regulation for the time strictly necessary to provide the User the service required to guarantee the transmission of the communication.
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this Site, entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
B) Types and purposes of their processing
Cookies are short text files that are downloaded to the User's device when visiting a website.
At each subsequent visit, cookies are sent back to the website that originated them (first-party cookies) or to another site that recognizes them (third-party cookies).
Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the User's device.
They have different purposes such as, for example, to allow efficient navigation between pages, remembering favorite sites and, in general, improving the browsing experience.
Depending on the function and purpose of use, cookies can be classified into technical cookies, profiling cookies, third-party cookies. The Site exclusively uses technical cookies (session and analytical) and third-party cookies.
1. Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service" (see Article 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
Among the technical cookies we highlight the essential cookies, also called "strictly necessary".
These cookies are essential for the site to function properly and are used to manage login and access to reserved functions. They are saved on the User's computer for the duration of the work session.
Their deactivation compromises the use of the services accessible by login, while the public part of the institutional site remains usable.
The technical cookies also include those used to statistically analyze accesses or visits to the site, also called "analytics" (or monitoring), which pursue exclusively statistical purposes, for the sole purpose of improving the offer of services and collect information in aggregate form with no possibility of tracing the identification of the individual user.
The prior consent of the users is not required for the installation of these cookies. These cookies can be disabled and/or deleted through the browser settings.
2. Third-party cookies
During navigation, the User could also receive on his/her terminal cookies of different websites or web servers (so-called "third-party" cookies): this happens because elements such as images, maps, sounds can be present on the Website , specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located.
In other words, these cookies are set directly by website operators or servers other than the site itself.
